#1 - The Fairy Lantern
Of all the things in the world that fairies love the most, more than fairy bread and more than fairy floss, they love to hear children reading out-loud. Your fairy door a has a magical lantern beside the door to light the way for the fairies, and on the top of that lantern is a little orb.
When children read out-loud it draws the fairies…they must come, and they come through the door to the lantern, and they deposit all of their fairy magic into the orb that is on top of the post. That orb magically changes the fairy magic and it magically washes over the child that is reading, and it gives them a passion for words, a passion for their books. The stories that they read become more interesting, difficult words become easier. And they fall in love with reading.
We promise that if a child reads every night out-loud, more fairies will come, and more magic will come and wash over the child, and after a year, they will be much better readers than they were and they will enjoy all the things that they read, and it will be fascinating and beautiful and wonderful; and they’ll be happy, and the fairies too, will be very happy.
#2 - The Fairy Safety Duck
Have you noticed the yellow safety duck sitting at the pond near your safety door? Or maybe you’ve purchased a separate pond, with a duck and a handheld rope that goes across some glow in the dark stones?
Why is the safety duck there, and what does he do for the fairies?
Well, as you know, little baby fairies have no wings. They can’t flyaround and land at the Landing Pad in front of the fairy door…they have to walk.
But what do they do if they have to cross a stream or a little lake to get to the fairy door when they are walking? Well, the fairies have an answer. They have put in place and on guard, the Safety Duck! His job is to quack loudly if a little fairy gets into difficulty while they are trying to cross the stream or the pond. When they quack, a big fairy with wings will come and rescue the little fairy and lift it up and fly it over to the fairy door, keeping it safe.
This is a beautiful message that the fairies want to send to children and mums and dads and families everywhere.
This is for children to understand that wherever they go, whether it’s to school or to a friend’s house, or a relative’s home, or anywhere that they go where mum and dad or family aren’t with them, the children can relax and enjoy their time and not feel anxious, because the people who love them, which is mum and dad and family always put things in place to keep children safe, just as the fairies have put the safety duck there to make sure that if there is a problem, they don’t need to worry…they’ll aways be safe.
The fairies think that this is a beautiful message to send to little fairies, and an even more beautiful message to send to children and families.
#3 - The Magical Fairy Bottle
Of all the magical items that the Fairies have provided for your Fairy Door, perhaps the most magical is the small bottle that you see near your door, and inside it, you’ll notice it has a parchment. Can you guess what it’s for?
Well, this magical bottle is for when children become old enough to have secrets and to have concerns and worries that they don’t quite know how to share with adults. Perhaps they are in their room quietly listening to all the adult conversations that happen around the coffee table or the lounge room or in the kitchen.
They don’t understand the words but they sense there are stresses…stresses about work that adults are having, or maybe stresses about family members…but the fairies have an answer!
When a Child speaks out-loud with their words, directly to the bottle, the fairies take those spoken words and they transcribe them onto the scroll that’s inside, magically. Then, at night, the Fairies’ helpers (who shall remain nameless), may open the top of the jar, and put an answer to those questions that have been spoken out, an answer to those concerns, and the child might find it in the morning.
It may be as simple as “The Fairies say that Grandad is going to be ok, he’s coming out of hospital and the Doctors say he’s fine…There’s no need to worry…Love, The Fairies”.
Or it may be a message about a concern at school…not to worry.
It may be a message from the fairies about the family pet that’s in at the Vet…whatever is on the child’s mind…whatever it is that they find hard to share with grownups, they can always speak to the fairies through the magical jar. And we think that this is the most magical item that the fairies have.
Even if it’s just a whisper in the dark after Mum and Dad have turned the light off at night and it’s bedtime, this magical jar that the fairies have created teaches children that whenever they speak out-loud with words, the things that are concerning them, the people who love them, which is the Fairies, and Mum and Dad, and Brothers and Sisters, Aunties and Uncles and Grandma and Grandad...ALL the people who love them will always have an answer for them…but they must speak out-loud, and not keep their worries and concerns in their head.
This is SO magical, and it’s a great habit for children to get into, and we love the fairies for providing it.
#4 - The Magical Gazing Ball
Have you ever wondered how the fairy magic works? Well, it works by love, and your fairy door has been provided with a magical Fairy Gazing Ball, and like all the other fairy magic, it too is powered by love.
How does it work and what does it do?
Well, the Gazing Ball allows you to quieten your mind and your heart and stare at the ball, sending loving thoughts to anyone in the world that you love, and who loves you. It may be a friend or a family member. They could live across the road or across on the other side of the world. They may even have Passed Away, but you can still send love to them and be connected, and you can receive their love as well.
What do you need to do? Simply find a quiet place, sit and gaze at the ball and think of the person and send love to them, or receive love from them while thinking about them.
You just need a minute and a half…it doesn’t take long, but the fairies know that this is a beautiful habit to get into once a day, just to know that anytime, or anywhere, you can quietly sit for a minute and a half and send and receive love to anybody that you like. It’s such a beautiful message, and then fairies want you feel that love and send that love all the time.
#5 - The Rainbow Crystal

Maybe you’re thinking that like everything else on your fairy door, this is to do with Fairy Magic. A lot of adults and grown-ups, well that’s what they think it is as well.
But would you like to know a secret?
This Rainbow Crystal has nothing to do with Fairy Magic.
This Rainbow Crystal has to do with your magic!
When you look at it, if you can see the rainbow colours, that means that you can see the magic that is in you, reflected in the crystal. And it means that the crystal, which is quite ordinary, can also see that magic which is in you.
You are the magical one…and this crystal reflects your magic, and everybody who can see the rainbow colours in the crystal can see the special magic which is you.
The fairies can see it, and that’s why they keep it near the door, so they can see your magic whenever they want to.
